Thanks Scott for setting up the Zoom meeting with the band members on my recent aborted trip to Chicago. Spending 2 full days in Portland Airport was not my idea of a reunion luncheon. When I finally DID get a flight to Chicago (what with numerous delays and flight cancellations) I resumed my trip to Wisconsin. Next year 60th reunion? YES! I will book the trip way ahead of reunion date just to make sure my flight misadventures dont happen again!

Hi David...Are you coming to the 60th reunion? I am for sure. Thought of you last winter while I was anowbirding in Palm Springs. Standing in line at a food truck at the weekly Village Fest street fair. Starrted chatting with the couple in front who were vacationing there. I said "Where you from?" They answered "Chicago". I said that was where I grew up. They asked "where?". I said Skokie. The fellow said that was where HE grew up. I said "Where abouts?". He said it was a short 3 Blick street that he was sure I didn't know. I said "Try me?". He "Suffield Court". "Suffield Court???!!!". Turns out he grew up on your block in the house where Keith Dougherty lived-- on your side of street up next to the 2-flat apartments. The Daughertys moved to Evanston when Keith was a freshman (I think) 1961. His named was Larry Swift. He went to Stenson. He was about 15 years younger than us so he didn't know any of the folks that we knew...no you, nor Rick Sourci, nor Morten Blatt, nor Susan Greenwald. But what a coincidence, huh? "OH, it's just a 3 block street that you've never heard of"..hahaha. Its a small small world after all.

WOW! Paul Hain and I went by your house on Suffield Court in Skokie on our way to the JANE STENSON 2014 REUNION on the Friday prior to the Niles West Bash. I flew to Portland on the day after the Niles West Reunion, and spent a week with friends in the woodlands around there. I will tell Paul that you have surfaced. Also, my family and I lived in South Reislip, England, and Ingrave (outside of Brentwood), England, in 1986 and 1987. We moved there from a home we built in Ootacamund, Tamil Nadu, India.
