From Bev Arpan Marshall:
The last time I saw Marilyn was in the 1980's. She had been dealing with MS for many years, but as a devout Christian Scientist she didn't give up. We went through school together: Sunday school, and kindergarten at Golf School through high school at Niles West and college at NIU. She loved to laugh, had a great sense of humor and was a fun person to know. Keep smiling, Marilyn.

I too was a classmate of Marilyn- Golf School through Niles West. She was a creative writer, won some writing contests in grade school. She was also good at posters and design, something we did together for classroom projects, especially in 4th grade as I recall. She always used an indoor voice that was heard, even when there was a ruckus.
