Trump has sidelined Dr Fauci because he disagrees with Dr Fauci's medical expertise.
We are 4.4% of the world's population and account for about 25% of the world's covid-19 cases.  
It is past time to be serious about an infectious disease and listen to Dr Fauci and public health officials to break the chain of our covid-19 curves.

Where is Trump getting his medical information?

He is running a disinformation campaign from the White House with reckless, confusing information.  
Our public health is at risk.

It's been two months since Trump was briefed by Dr Fauci. Trump is limiting Dr Fauci's availability for interviews, and he publicly contradicts Dr Fauci's medical expertise.

On what basis is Trump making decisions that rely on good medical data?

"No," Gov DeSantis, "opening schools is not like stopping at Home Depot for a new furnace filter."

European Union countries have instituted new modeling and practices to re-open schools, but first they broke the chain of their covid-19 curves.

In some parts of the U.S. hospitals are overwhelmed by covid-19.
Again there are shortages of PPE for nurses and other health care workers.  
Where is the disconnect?
Covid-19 is surging across the country.

Trump continues to hold super spreader campaign rallies and risk our public health.

We have serious problems in the U.S.    
They start with Trump.

We are in the midst of a pandemic.  
We need sound leadership.  
Public health officials are breaking with Trump, speaking in a clear voice about the threat of the raging covid-19 pandemic surging in America.

Trump says he sailed through a cognitive test.
Alas! cognitive tests do not measure mental capacity.

We have lost more than 1,000 health care workers to covid-19.

Small and silly, corrupt people have overtaken the party of Lincoln.  
"How could Trump let Roger Stone go to prison when Obama and Biden are walking free?"  
(Trump commuted Roger Stone's prison sentence.)

Meanwhile the coronavirus rages on.

"Amazing that a country that valued science enough to get to the moon, doesn't value science enough to 'mask up and wash hands'."  
Why are Trump and some of his favorite Republican governors all too happy to ignore science in the midst of a pandemic?

No screaming on the roller coaster!  
Keep your droplets to yourself.

In the midst of a pandemic asserting that schools open safely is easier said than done.  
We all want schools open safely.
The ultimatum demanding that schools re-open is shocking in light of our public health concerns.   
Schools and children, teachers and school personnel do not exist in a vacuum.
Covid-19 is out of control in the U.S.  
Trump and DeVos are totally untethered from reality (or just don't care).

The White House is working to discredit Dr Fauci.
Trump and the White House are attacking Dr Fauci for not having Trump's best interest at heart.  
Covid-19 is out of control in the U.S.  
Trump and the White House are showing a total lack of leadership, challenging medicine in the midst of the pandemic.  
We need to hear the hard truth from Dr Fauci and public health officials.  
We need a clear message from an Independent Coronavirus Task Force.

His administration has ordered hospitals to bypass the CDC and send key virus data to a Trump administration database in Washington, DC, accessible to members of his administration and HHS, but not to the scientific community, public health officials, and the media: there's no transparency for what should be public information.
Trump says he knows more than the scientists.

The context is Trump's history of misusing information to pass on disinformation.  
He is totally politicizing the Coronavirus in the midst of an out of control pandemic.

In the middle of the pandemic Trump doesn't want to somehow see himself in the Oval Office behind that beautiful Resolute desk, the great Resolute desk, wearing a mask,  
but there he is, in the middle of an out-of-control pandemic, posing for a photograph behind the Resolute desk hawking cans of beans.

Senate Republicans are coming 'round to realize they may have to deal with the coronavirus... and McConnell wants credit for doing it.
