The House managers are connecting the dots... it's hard to imagine what line of defense could penetrate the wall of facts.

Scientists are leading the way to scale the threat of the coronavirus,
and the Biden Task Force is coordinating distribution of COVID vaccines.

"We don't want to lose our democracy, but fences won't protect it.
"The four miles of fences that now ring the Capitol will do nothing to prevent another attack, or to help us understand the underlying failures that allowed the riot to happen.
"When people are angry or hungry or desperate or feel aggrieved, walls and fences won't stop them. And when security forces ignore---or lack---the intelligence that suggests a mob attack is imminent, no defense will matter."
-- Army Lt. General Russel Honore

Confirmation bias is the habit of seeking out and believing only those things that validate our existing beliefs.
Do we have the imagination to punch tiny holes though our walls of confirmation bias?
to see in the light that streams through those tiny holes a bigger world beyond our walls...

"I remember standing in front of a display at The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. The photos in front of me were of lynchings. Black men being killed for no reason other than their skin color. In the photos, those doing the killing, looked like me. Many, even some small children, looked jubilant. Some of the men wore white hoods and robes. Families were picnicking.

"Standing alongside me was an African American husband and wife, fellow sojourners on a week long Justice Journey through the Civil Rights sites in the South. As we looked at the pictures they began to tremble and weep. They were experiencing the exhibit in the deepest places of their being, mourning losses, agonizing over the experiences of their ancestors.

"I experienced deep anger. I was mad at white people who thought a lynching was a perfect place to take a picnic and watch another human being destroyed. I wondered if I would have had the courage to stand against such horror.

"Some may say, 'That was then, this is now,' but I can't let it go. The hate that was at the root of the problem back then is still with us today and keeps playing itself out in awful ways. People of color are still weeping and trembling and too many white people are still justifying their indifference to discussions of race that make them uncomfortable."

Changes to how elections are run resulted in a record number of people voting in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic.
Now, concerned that too many people voted in 2020, Republican legislators, in statehouses across the country, have introduced more than 250 bills to restrict access to the ballot box - they fear that measures that make it easier for people to vote lead to more fraud.

PROBLEM: There is NO evidence that making it easier for people to vote leads to more fraud. More people voting does NOT jeopardize election integrity.

Republican legislators and GOP governors are working to make a fortress of the wall that obstructs access to the polls, and make it even more cumbersome for some to vote.

*Interesting to know that some countries require citizens to vote (and fine those who don't).
**Most countries automatically register voters or require citizens to register.

Major needs more than a doghouse.
The Bidens need to build a wall around Major (not at the White House).

It took a video watched 'round the world and weeks of protest for there to be a trial and the so-called blue wall of silence to crumble for the judicial system to deliver basic accountability.

With Trump lurking in the shadows, telling his supporters he will be reinstated as U.S. President in August there can be no unity or healing in our country.
