He is the con man behind the curtain;
finally the curtain has been pulled open.

He is fundamentally unfit for office - intellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologically.  
These qualities are of paramount consideration in electing a president.

He disdains knowledge, is indifferent to facts, untroubled by his ignorance.

It is reasonable to expect that at some point a president will face an unexpected crisis---

that the president's judgment and discernment, his character and leadership ability, really matter.

The crisis has arrived in the form of coronavirus:
he is overwhelmed by the pandemic.

He isn't responsible for coronavirus or the disease it causes, COVID-19,
and he couldn't have stopped it from hitting our shores.

That said, he and his administration have left us badly behind the curve.

For crucial weeks, he created a false sense of security
and did nothing.  
He frittered away the opportunity to engage us in early (and critical) containment and mitigation.

His failure to acknowledge coronavirus,
and his chaotic management from the White House
have wasted time we can't make up.

He is discovering (perhaps for the first time in his life) that he can't spin or tweet his way out of a pandemic.

His misinformation and mendacity about the coronavirus are head-snapping.

What he says is not just useless, it is downright dangerous.

His Coronavirus Task Force Chief eschewed wearing a mask at Mayo Clinic despite their rules that require everyone to wear a mask.  
Not even families of dying patients are allowed to be in the hospital with their loved one wearing a mask.  
Mayo Clinic should have denied entrance to his Coronavirus Task Force Chief if he refused to follow their protocol and model responsible behavior. 

Today his Coronavirus Task Force Chief wore a mask to tour a GM plant in Indiana.

He wants testing, testing, testing for himself and those around him, for others not so important.
He does not seem to understand the importance of contact tracing and quarantining for those exposed to the coronavirus.

Last week he said it was time to disband his Coronavirus Task Force.  
Three members of his task force are now in some form of quarantine.

Following his welcoming her to the White House where no precautions were taken, Iowa's governor has put herself in modified quarantine.

He says: "Don't ask me, ask China."

His Vice President and Coronavirus Task Force Chief is maintaining a distance from him and from the West Wing.

He's going it alone, he's not partnering with other countries.

He's taking on the world.

He speaks of Obamagate.
