I was so shocked to read that Steve had died. I haven't seen him in awhile but we both went to Roosevelt University and were in a Sociology class together. We had a field trip to the Cook County Jail and Steve sat down in the antique electric chair they had clutched his chest and passed out. They took him to the hospital and the prison and then on to a local hospital. I followed him there to make sure he was ok, as it turned out he had walking pneumonia and his lung collapsed. He was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor.
