In Memory

Lloyd Freel

Lloyd and I were married for 46 years on Aug. 2, 2016. He had been retired since 2012 but took sick leave after his second heart attack before deciding not to return to work. He worked with a non-profit organization for many years providing housing assistance to the low and very low income, disabled and elderly in the Asheville NC area. He was a loving grandfather and a wonderful loving husband. He loved singing and playing his guitar and had become a pretty good baker after he retired. He passed away in Hawaii while we were there celebrating our friend's 50th anniversary. I guess you can say he died in paradise...

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Freel, sons Christopher and Matthew and their families, including 6 grandchildren and sister Donna Eakle and family.
