Bob was my cousin and we lived 5 blocks apart, as kids,  in Lincolnwood.  We built forts, rode bikes, climbed trees and enjoyed family functions together.   We were only 2 months apart in age and I always bragged that I was the oldest so I got special treatment.  We both became teachers and he retired about 2 years ago.  .  Bob also spent time in the Air Force and went to college after his discharge.  He will be deeply missed, but I have fond memories to hold on to.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy, nieces and a nephew.

I wanted to add, he is also survived by his younger brother, Bruce Woolley.   I didn't want to leave him out.

Bob Wooley was a very nice person. He was kind and generous. He died on November 5 2913 of complications from pneumonia. He left behind a wife, brother, and many friends.

Bob was from Lincolnwood. In high school he was on the cross country team sophomore year and worked at the Dairy Queen on Devon Ave.  He was the person who called the police and fire department, the night Bob Rivenberg died.

Bob emailed me a few time, when he joined the Niles west reunion site. He was very generous in donating money to the reunion fund and was very interested in attending the reunion.

I had learned from Bob's emails that he was a teacher. He taught school for many years and enjoyed his retirement. Although, I was not good friends with Bob, I will miss seeing him at the reunion. He was one of the tallest boys in 8 th grade and smiled all the time.

Bob was one of my oldest and closest friends we go back to 4th grade. Since I moved away our friendship has stayed connected. At Lincoln Hall Bob ,Bill Hendricks and myself were together most of the time. Bob's brother Bruce was also with us.I can't tell all the things we did but we had a pretty good life. The last time I saw Bob I was in the hospital recovering from knee surgery, after that we talked on the phone, we were planing on getting together at the reunion and afterwords because I was planing on staying around. I lost a good friend and I will remember him forever.

I remember bob from sophmore basketball. He had size 16 feet so he wasn't easily knocked off his feet...more like a bobo doll. I understand that his shoe size diminished to 14 for some reason...adolescent hormones I guess. I last talked to him 30 yrs ago when he called to see if I would attend the reunion. Well, I didn't and was laying cement at the time. I'm so sorry that I couldn't talk more about the old times and reflect upon my career in education in Illinois  with him.  Regrets to his family and friends. I know a lot of us alums that have died. Almost seems like more have died than r still alive.

Gordie Urelius was my best friend. I've looked on the web and it appears he died about 5 yrs ago in Ca according to Social Security.  Can someone investigate? Oh. my obituary appeared in the Ripon College newsletter about 20 yrs ago. I asked for a retraction and they refused. So I flunked out and when I was coming up for the last time, they ignored my plantiff cry. Assholes flunked out Harrison Ford too after 4 yrs...1.99 gpa. Birthplace for the GOP and deathplace too.
