I know Donna died quite awhile ago but seeing her name made me so sad again.  She was always such a happy person when we were in high school full of life and good spirits.  I think it was the 25th Reunion that news of her death came about.  We had so much fun together in high school.

Donna was an absolute nut...So full of life.  I remember one of the first times I was with her, a pajama party at her house.  She entertained us (and spooked me a bit) by playing dress up...Dressing up as a Russian woman, an old Italian man (accents and all) and finally jumping out stark naked!!!!  She was the first one who ever colored my hair (with straight peroxide( which ate up the metal comb) and pierced my ears wth a needle and an ice cube, both resulting in absolute disaster.  (It's me who needed to have my head examined And she never failed to entertain and amaze us throughout high school and after.  I was the only one who didn't go to college, and after Donna got kicked out of Southern, we hung out and would head down to Rush Street quite often.  We even tried to go down there during the Martin Luther King riots, finding ourselves to be the only car on the streets other than police cars!  I can remember one hot summer day when I was home for lunch from my job and Donna stopped by with her face covered with green face mask, garbed in a black fur coat and hat!  If I can find that picture, I'll try to post it.  Donna brought laughter to many, and I was fortunate to be one of those recipients.  She died too young, but lived life to the fullest while she was here.
